Sunday March 16th
This was a very relaxing day. I basically woke up and layed around watching basketball all day long. I did not even leave my apartment all day long until later in the evening when I made an exciting trip to Wal-Mart to stock up on some groceries. I returned home and realized my Spring Break was in fact coming to an end.
Saturday March 15th
I slept in on Saturday. After I woke up I watched some more basketball games with my friends before heading back to Bloomington later in the afternoon. Upon returning to Bloomington I was able to hang out with some friends I had not seen for a week on Saturday night.
Friday March 14th

I traveled to Indianapolis in the morning to my friend's Josh's house. We spent the afternoon watching basketball games and the conference tournaments. We had intended to attend the whole Big Ten tourney, but we ended up only going to the session Friday night when DJ White and the Indiana played. It was definitely not a desired outcome as I proceeded to hit the balcony floor and lay on the ground as Minnesota's last second shot went through the net.
Thursday March 13th
Today I worked again, but I had a more difficult task. I had to shovel corn in one of the grain bins for the majority of the day which was not delightful at all. Once again I guess I was earning money and was glad to be able to help my dad out.
Wednesday March 12th
Today was probably the most uneventful day of my break. I helped my dad again doing the same things. I cleaned up some more around his buildings and helped feed the cows once again. In the evening I just sat around with family and relaxed and watched television.
Tuesday March 11th
Tuesday I again helped my dad out on his farm. I helped with feeding the cows and did some cleaning around the shop. This was not extremely thrilling, but I was able to earn some money. I once again traveled to watch my old high school team. Tonight it was for the regional championship and this time they came up on the losing end.
Monday March 10th
On Monday the snow was finally melting away from the weekend snow storm. In Orleans there was around a total of 7 or 8 inches of snow Friday and Saturday. As you will find for the better part of the week I was at home in Orleans. I did some odd jobs for my dad throughout the day and on Monday night traveled to watch my high school alma mater in their regional semifinal basketball game (which was postponed from Saturday) and they were able to win. Other then the win the highlight was when I spotted one of our players contacts he had lost from my seat in the first row and was able to run out on the floor and point it out. I returned to my seat with a standing ovation and the student section chanting my name.
